Should I book an appointment for my child?
Yes. To ensure our barber can dedicate the necessary time and patience to your child’s service, appointments are required. This ensures there is no wait time and that the suite is prepared specifically for your child’s visit.
How should I prepare my child for their haircut?
For the best experience, we recommend talking to your child about the haircut beforehand so they know what to expect. Arriving with clean hair, free of tangles or heavy products, helps our barber start the service smoothly. If your child has a favorite video or a small toy that helps them stay calm, they are more than welcome to bring it into the private suite.
What if my child is nervous or has trouble sitting still?
Our barber is highly patient and experienced with younger clients. We do not rush the process; if your child needs a moment to reset or take a break, our barber accommodates that. The private, one-on-one nature of the suite helps significantly in reducing the anxiety many children feel in larger, louder shops.
Can I stay in the suite with my child during the cut?
Absolutely. Parents are encouraged to stay in the suite. Our barber works with you to ensure the child feels safe and that the final style meets your preferences.
Are there surcharges for weekend or evening appointments?
Please note that a $10 surcharge applies to all services starting at 6:00 PM or later, as well as all appointments booked for Sundays. This applies to children’s haircuts as well as adult services.
What happens if the haircut cannot be completed?
While our barber is very patient, the safety of the child is our top priority. If a child becomes extremely distressed, our barber will work with the parent to decide the best way to proceed safely.
